Who are Igence Software?
Igence Software is a UK-based specialist in bespoke software and systems, serving sectors such as defence, aerospace, maritime, and manufacturing. With over 25 years’ experience, they are trusted by major organisations for their technical expertise and commitment to delivering on challenging, mission-critical projects.
What Igence Software needed.
Igence’s website was outdated and no longer reflected the scope or calibre of their work. The immediate need was to quickly replace their old site with a modern, professional presence—without disrupting business or delaying client communications. After the initial launch, the goal shifted to creating a more advanced, visually impactful site that could serve as a true showcase for their expertise, case studies, and service offering.
Our Approach.
In 2021, I took ownership of the web project, handling every aspect from design and copywriting to technical setup and launch. The first version was delivered rapidly, taking the burden off the Igence team and ensuring a seamless transition from their legacy site. In 2023, I worked closely with Igence to develop a second-generation website, elevating the design, user experience, and content structure. The new site features clear navigation, dedicated industry pages, project highlights, and a modern, sector-neutral aesthetic. I continue to retain and maintain the site, meeting regularly with the Igence team to schedule updates and ensure the website evolves with their business.
Results & Impact
The transformation has been significant: Igence now has a web presence that matches their reputation and supports their business development. The speed and quality of the first launch exceeded expectations, and the ongoing partnership ensures their website remains current, functional, and aligned with their strategic goals. The site now serves as a central business tool, helping Igence win new contracts and better communicate their value to clients.
